What fits in a 12-yard dumpster?
About four pickup truck loads. That's right for a garage cleanout, a small kitchen or bath remodel, a roof on a small home, or a big yard cleanup.
What can't go in the dumpster?
No hazardous materials: paint, chemicals, oil, tires, batteries, propane tanks or asbestos. Heavy materials like concrete and dirt need to be discussed first because of weight limits.
Do I need a permit?
Not if it sits on your driveway. If it has to go on the street, your town may require a permit. Ask us and we'll point you in the right direction.
Should I get a dumpster or full-service junk removal?
If you're doing the loading over several days, a dumpster is usually cheaper. If you want it gone in one visit with no lifting, go with junk removal.
